              SBS mod-bit Torch On Roofing

Torch on roofing is designed for all climates. It expands under heat and contracts under cold conditions without melting or cracking as other materials might. This gives torch down roofs their long lifespan.

Climates with frequent snow are a challenge for flat roofs because snow stays on the roof until it melts. Water-resistant torch down roofing is an excellent choice in snowy environments.

The cap sheet on a torch on roofing system has other excellent properties, including resistance to UV rays, and reflectivity to keep the building cool and energy efficient.

If a torch on roofing system needs repair, it’s a relatively simple process. Patches of modified bitumen membrane may be added to the rip, gap, or broken seam. As with the installation process, a torch is used for repair. There are many different torch on products and colours that you can chose from that will work best for your application. This is the most popular low slop roof that is installed in the lower mainland. with a long life and good looks this will be the roof for you.

   Advantages

  • System guarantees are available for up to 15 years

  • First ply for most jobs is mopped down using hot asphalt so there's no risk of fire, or torched applied. second ply is mostly torch applied as well.

  • Lightweight — installed premium roof designs weigh less than 3 pounds per square foot

  • Resilient —  Membrane's heavyweight composite mat and core allow it to resist splits and tears due its strength, pliability, and elongation characteristics

  • Durable — specially formulated modified asphalt gives Membrane lasting performance. These roofs have a life of around 25-30 years.

All of the products  we use are eco friendly. Keeping your roof clean from leaf's, moss, sticks, and pine needles will help the longevity .
